At Dodger Stadium the Langley Farm Team outscored the Streator Reds 6 to
3.
 
Langley took the lead for good in the top of the 2nd inning with 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits.  Reed Johnson led off and keyed the rally when he drew
a walk.  Matt Holliday came next and he singled.  Kurt Suzuki then laid down
a sacrifice bunt.  One out later, Alexei Ramirez came to the plate and laced
a base-hit.  Langley had 11 hits overall, while Streator had 6.  
 
Justin Masterson(6-3) got the win allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Masterson got
relief help from Mariano Rivera who gained credit for his 12th save.  Jeremy
Sowers(3-9) took the loss.
